Our group’s topic is Video Games. We decided to do video games because kids need good video games that help them learn. Our educational purpose is to get kids to play better video games and to get parents to buy better games. We want people to learn that video games have good and bad meanings. Also, parents should talk to their kids about the game before buying games. Parents should also ask their kids why they want the game and why should they buy it and waste their money. Parents should also look for affordable video games that are educational.

Vice Presidents

Our website is about vice presidents who later became president. We decided to pick this topic because we were all interested in presidents, vice presidents and politics. We picked vice presidents who become presidents because they’re the people who are first and second in command for the country. We want people to know more than presidents, but how did they succeed to become president. There are different ways that a vice president can become president.  Some were elected, while others were moved into office after a death or assassination.  What if somebody came from another country he asked you how did your president succeed to become president? What would you say? You’ve been living there but you don’t even know about your presidents. So you should really visit our site.

Our team’s topic is Natural Disasters. We decided to pick this topic because we didn’t know much about natural disasters and we thought it was interesting. Also we wanted to know if they and what types could appear in the United States. Furthermore we picked this topic because there have recently been hurricanes, tsunamis and earthquakes experienced by people all around the world. The educational purpose for this website is teaching people who live in an area where natural disasters occur how to stay safe and know how dangerous they can be.

Madagascar

Our topic is Madagascar. We decided on Madagascar because of the movie. All of the group members were fans of the movie and we wanted to know if life in Madagascar is how the movie described it to be. The educational purpose is that we want people to know that this island is different than how the movie shows it. From watching the movie people think it is all trees and no buildings. There is a big difference between the movie and reality.

Diabetes

We chose diabetes as a topic because it has a basic educational purpose. Children can learn about Juvenile Diabetes. Adults can focus on how to prevent diabetes. We wanted children and adults to understand what diabetes is and to be aware of its effects, causes, history, and types. We also chose this topic because 4 out of 5 group members have a family member with diabetes. One of the student’s has a mom who is a nurse who treats people with diabetes. So as we were thinking about topics that were not common, this one came to mind.
